Salman Khan's Birthday Bash: Aamir, Anil, Eli, Sonakshi And Many Tinsel Town Stars in Attendance — Photos

Salman Khan who has turned 48 today, threw a lavish pre-birthday bash at his farmhouse in Panvel, Mumbai last night. 

 TV actress Aarti Chabria also made it to the birthday bash. She also wished Salman a very happy birthday. She wrote: "Heres wishing my fav, @BeingSalmanKhan a very very Happy Birthday! Loadsa love,good health,happiness n success!" (Twitter)

 'Ramaiya Vastavaiya' actor Girish Kumar, who along with his father and producer Kumar Taurani were also at the party. The new Bollywood entrant tweeted a pic from the party and wrote: "Met my idol @BeingSalmanKhan on his birthday. Wish you a very Happy birthday. Yippee (jumping with joy)"

And who’ who of Bollywood rushed in there to celebrate the superstar’s birthday which included Anil Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Kunal Kohli, Esha Deol, Arjun Kapoor, Girish Kumar, Preetham, Sonu Sood, Suneil Shetty, Randeep Hooda. 

'Jai Ho' co star Sana Khan tweeted a pic from the party and wrote: "Happy bday to our very own Salman khan,it was super fun celebrating his bday yest.. Danced like crazyyyy..yoo!!" (Twitter)

Jiah Khan Suicide: Mumbai High Court To Hear Suraj Pancholi’s Bail Plea Today!

After Suraj was denied bail by a lower court, his lawyer had moved the High Court and the bail application will be heard today

Suraj Pancholi, who was arrested for abetting Jiah Khan’s suicide, is looking forward to some relief from the Bombay High Court today. Suraj was sent to jail on June 10, and on June 21, the son of actors Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab was denied bail by a lower court. Suraj’s lawyer had moved the HC and his bail application will be heard today.

Suraj has been in police custody for almost a fortnight now and he has been charged under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code. He was sent to jail till June 27. Let’s see what’s in store for the young, aspiring actor this time around. Watch this space for the verdict.

Subhash Ghai To Remake With Sunil Shetty’s Daughter And Aditya Pancholi’s Son In The Lead

The Showman of Bollywood will introduce two new actors – Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty – to reprise the role of Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Sheshadri in the remake of the 1983 musical hit.

Subhash Ghai, known for his big budget multi-starrers, has joined the bandwagon of the new generation of filmmakers obsessed with remakes and sequels. The showman, we hear, is remaking his own musical hit Hero which made Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Sheshadri overnight stars.

Ghai has already signed Aditya Pancholi’s son, Sooraj Pancholi and Sunil Shetty’s daughter, Athiya Shetty to reprise Jackie and Meenakshi’s roles. While it is still not clear who will direct the project (we wonder if Ghai will take on the mantle), the film is likely to go on floors by the end of this year after the Whistling Woods International head honcho finishes shooting Kaanchi. When we verified the story with Sunil, the proud father confirmed it by sending us a text message saying, ‘Yes.’

Earlier, there were several reports that said Athiya would debut with none other than Ranbir Kapoor! Then there were talks about her debuting with Jackie’s son Tiger Shroff in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Heropanti.

Anyway, the question is, will Sooraj live up to the movie’s title like Jaggu dada did three decades ago? And will Athiya make a splashing debut like Deepika Padukone and Sonakshi Sinha? We wish the aspiring actors all the luck and wait to see how many fireworks this jodi brings, on and off screen!
