Hunger Game Star Sam Claflin Marries Girlfriend Laura Haddock In Secret Ceremony

The 'Hunger Games: Catching Fire' actor tied the knot with his fiancee of over a year recently and although they tried to keep the ceremony private, pictures have leaked to a number of fansites including thesamclaflin.tumblr.com.

Sam, 27, previously opened up about how he met Laura, 27, revealing it was love at first sight when he had an audition with her.

He said: "It's the sickliest story ever. I walked into an audition room, I saw her and I knew. I'm not kidding for the life of me. She was reading in for a part and it's my fourth free call. I've done previously three auditions with this other girl reading and this girl walked in and I walked out of the audition, couldn't care less if I got the part. I called my agent, I said, 'Mate, I am in love.' He's like, 'How did the audition go, mate?' I was like, 'No, no, you don't understand. I have just met the woman I want to marry.' Then, that evening I went to a party in East London and at 5 am, I stayed up all night having fun with my friends, got on the first tube or the subway home, got the subway doors opened at my stop, she was standing there. I'm not kidding. This actually happened.

"She was like, 'Sam!' and I was like, 'Oh my god, I'm still on the same clothes. My god, I smell.' But yeah we exchanged information."

Sam also revealed he loves Laura because she reminds him of his mother.

He said: "I think I found the one that I want to live with the rest of my life, luckily.

"How do I know that she's the one? She's my female counterpart is the best way to describe her. She is my mum... She reminds me of my mum so much which I think-

-a guy will know, right? It's important. Your mum knows like everything.

"She has a lot of very similarities but at the same time she's very different and the elements that she's different from my mom, she's me. My mum being the first woman I ever loved obviously and is now the second woman I've ever loved probably is you know, yeah."

Building excitement for the next installment in the "Hunger Games" story, Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, and Sam Claflin attended a "Catching Fire" party at Baoli Beach during the Cannes Film Festival on Saturday (May 18).

The Oscar-winning actress looked adorable in a strapless white dress with hot pink heels as her hunky Aussie costar chose a navy suit and a crisp white dress shirt.

Making his first appearance in the series, the English actor wore a navy suit, red shirt, and matching pocket square as he posed alongside his castmates.

In the sequel, Katniss and Peeta embark on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games. "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" hits theaters on November 22nd.
