The actor made a public statement announcing the end of his marriage and this led a series of speculations on what exactly went wrong between Sussanne and him.
While all this was happening, Hrithik chose to stay away from the spotlight, and was in LA for some much-needed rest post Krrish 3. It also gave him a chance to allow the shock among his fans post the news of his split with Sussanne to settle down.
And while the status of his relationship with Sussanne has surely taken a toll on his peace of mind; when Roshan landed in Mumbai a few days back, he looked fitter than ever before.
Reportedly when Hrithik Roshan flew to LA a few weeks back, he even took his trainer along with him.
Post his brain surgery in July, Hrithik had been advised to stay away from intense workouts. At the same time he was also busy with the 24x7 promotions of Krrish 3, due to which his body was slowly becoming out of shape.
So in this short break before resuming the shoot of Bang Bang, Hrithik and his trainer chalked out a new workout and diet plan to help the actor return to his Greek-God physique.
Hrithik set out to get himself a lean look, vital for Bang Bang.
So Hrithik signed up with one of LA’s best gyms and his workout included cardio and resistance training followed by weight and treadmill runs.
"His diet was high on nutrients and low on calories. His morning began with egg whites and a protein shake. He lunched on salad, a few potatoes and 200 gm fish. Dinner was salad again with 150 gm chicken," said a source to Mumbai Mirror.
Now that he is back - The routine continues in Mumbai too and the actor works out for two hours everyday at his Juhu home.
