It was constantly reported that Sonarika Bhadoria -- TV’s favourite Goddess Parvati, is going to leave the show. But neither Sonarika nor the production house was willing to talk about it. Now, the makers have got a replacement for Sonarika, she is the Bengali girl Pooja Bose.
Yes, now the TV viewers will get to see a new Parvati, opposite Mahadev Mohit Raina in the coming episodes of Devon Ke Dev Mahadev. Pooja Bose has already started shooting for the episodes. While talking to a daily, Pooja says, “I will not copy Sonarika at all! I will be portraying the role in my own way and in my own body language.”
However, it’s still a challenge for Pooja to step into the shoes of Sonarika as the latter was immensely popular among the viewers as Parvati. Moreover, Sonarika enjoyed a good male fan base.
Not only Pooja, there are many more characters to be introduced in the show. Soon the Ramayan track is going to start, and the makers are sure that this will add freshness to the story, and among the new characters such as Ram and Sita, the audiences will even get to see a new Parvati.
The insiders claim that this replacement shows that no one is indispensible in the industry. It’s said that Sonarika Bhadoria’s starry tantrums was one of the reasons why she was shown the door.
Earlier too, several lead characters like Anuj Saxena in Kkusum, Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi were replaced for different reasons.
