Eva Longoria Denies Romance Rumours With George Clooney: 'George And I Have Been Friends For Years'!

The 38-year-old beautiful actress took to social media to shut down reports that anything romantic was going on between her and the 52-year-old newly single star.

The former "Desperate Housewives" star took to Twitter on Thursday to shoot down an Us Weekly report that claimed one of Hollywood's most handsome stars tried to "woo" her while still dating Stacy Keibler.

"As interesting as the George Clooney rumors are, they aren't true. George and I have been friends for years," Longoria wrote.

According to the mag, Clooney, 52, began "pursuing" the petite brunette beauty.

"He told her that he was still with Stacy, but had plans to break up with her and was interested in being with Eva," a source told Us.

The pair hung out in March while in Germany for work, but Longoria denied his advances and they "did not hook up," the source continued.

Although the 38-year-old actress did not show any interest in Clooney, he reportedly continued to pursue her with texts and calls.

"Eva made it clear to him that she would not date or be with him until he was completely single," the insider added.

Longoria recently announced her new romance with Ernesto Arguello, whom she met while producing the NBC reality dating show "Ready for Love."

The actress told the Twitterverse in early July she "couldn't be happier” with her beau.

Keibler and Clooney officially called it quits earlier this month over reported opposing views on marriage and children.

Kiebler, however, dismissed the rumors this week, telling “Extra,” "There's nothing really dramatic that happened, so it's all good."

TV actor Rajeev Paul, who is being linked to Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan's sister Sunaina, says they have been friends for a very long time, but not having an affair.

"Sunaina has been my friend even before 'Bigg Boss' (happened). We have been going out. I am also fond of her entire family. We all laugh at this," Rajeev told IANS.

He admits that "first time, we found it (rumours) embarrassing. But now it doesn't effect me. She is a wonderful girl and I am blessed to have great friends. The entire family are such wonderful people and I just adore them."

He added: "Just because I am close to them, that doesn't mean that I am having an affair with Sunaina."

The actor was last seen in Colors' controversial reality show, "Bigg Boss" where he was put in the same house with his ex-wife Delnaaz Irani.

Rajeev and Delnaaz got divorced last year after living separately since 2010.

"I am blessed to be part of 'Bigg Boss' as people got to know what I was actually made of. I get so much love, it has been overwhelming."

"My stand towards Delnaaz never changed, no matter what happened. I am a happy soul and I look at the good things...whoever has been through a rough patch in life, they will understand it," he said.

He claims that he never criticises Delnaaz.

"I never said one word against Delnaaz and I never will. Sometimes when there is something bad, people notice it, but good things take time. I am glad people saw all sides of me," he said.

Refuting rumours that she has signed a Hollywood project titled Curry in Love with Tamil filmmaker P Vasu, Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor said Tuesday that she hasn’t been approached for any English film as of now. “The news about me part of an English film is just a rumour. Nobody has approached me for a Hollywood project,” Sonam told reporters in Chennai.

It was reported Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Tamil actor Vijay and Hollywood actor Nick Nolte have been roped in to feature in Curry in Love, which was to be helmed by P Vasu, known for Tamil films such as Chandramukhi and Kuselan.

But the actress would love to act in any language film. “Language has never been a barrier for me. I would love to do films in other languages, but I don’t want to end up playing similar roles. If I get a challenging role to play, then I would be more than willing to work in any language,” she said while promoting her upcoming Hindi romance Raanjhanaa with Tamil actor Dhanush.

Raanjhanaa, directed by Anand L Rai, is dubbed in Tamil as Ambikapathy. While the Hindi version is scheduled to release on June 21, the Tamil version will release a week later.
