Shahrukh Khan Feature In Shekhar Ravjiani’s Marathi Single, Saavli: Watch Teaser!

Bollywood King Khan will not only feature in the video, but also recite a romantic verse in it

It seems Shahrukh Khan cannot stay away from the ‘king of romance’ tag for long. So the Baadshah will be back and this time he will be seen in Shekhar Ravjiani’s new Marathi music single titled Saavli. The song is about the innocence, purity and magic of first love; and who else but SRK can be the apt choice to not only feature in the video, but also recite a few romantic verses in true SRK ishtyle.

We hear when Shekhar met the Chennai Express star and made him listen to the song, Shahrukh instantly agreed to be a part of it not only ‘coz he could instantly connect with the emotions of love, but also since the revenues from the single will be donated to an NGO.

The teaser scene has been picked from the Marathi film Balak Palak, so we will have to wait a little longer to see how Shahrukh will be shown in the video.

And we just can’t wait to see how SRK’s first outing in Marathi turns out to be!

Who Confess To Being 40-Plus, Like Shahrukh Khan Does?

The Bollywood King discloses his real age….well, almost….onscreen in the promo of Chennai Express. So will his peers – frenemies? – in B-town follow his example?

In the Chennai Express trailer, the moment Shahrukh Khan told us his age, we leaped out of our seats in utter astonishment. He called himself a 40-year-old in the film – which may not be very close to 47, his real age, but it is way better than his claiming to an energetic boy of 25! While SRK has done roles that suit his chronological age (case in point: Main Hoon Naa, Chak De! India, et al), there are also films in which he has tried to step into the shoes of a twenty-something (remember Jab Tak Hai Jaan ?) and made an absolute fool of himself. The wrinkles of experience didn’t exactly complement his youthful hippety-hoppety behaviour in that film and Anushka Sharma, who is genuinely 25, and Katrina Kaif, who is 29, were studies in great contrast.

But there’s no dearth of actors who take great pride in looking young, display a smug look and believe that they will pass muster even as a 20–year-old lad. Let’s see who falls into this complacent category…

SRK & Gauri Khan Guilty Of Sex Determination?

Reports about the duo’s third child being a baby boy has miffed Indian Radiological and Imaging Associations (IRIA)

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly got into trouble with state health department for finding out the sex of his unborn child through surrogacy. Last week media was abuzz with reports that King Khan and his wife Gauri were set to have a boy through surrogacy.

The radiologists' association has asked the state health department to inquire into news and find out how the star couple has got to know about the sex of their unborn child when sex determination is illegal in India.

Sources have revealed that state's Indian Radiological and Imaging Associations (IRIA) has objected to King Khan finding and revealing the sex of their unborn child in the wake of reports of skewed sex ratio across Maharashtra, including Mumbai. It is said they are contemplating strict action against radiologists for allegedly conducting illegal sex determination.

IRIA has demanded an investigation into the matter and has sent an email to the top state health department officials, including state health minister Suresh Shetty. It is also reported that if the news is confirmed then it means that celebs are breaking the law. This case has also gained momentum as the person who has been accused of determining the sex of the child is a celebrity and this will set a wrong example.

However, the star couple has refused to comment on it. Investigators are also trying to find out if the star couple got the sex determined outside India, where it is legal.
