Katy Perry Belts Out Her Latest Hit While Promoting Her New Album "Prism" in Sydney - Photos

Taking her new tunes Down Under, Katy Perry performed outside the Sydney Opera House on Tuesday (October 29).

The "Roar" singer belted out tracks from her latest album Prism while wearing a midriff-baring white top and jungle-print skirt. Later, she took time to pose for pics with fans in a similarly printed dress outside her hotel.

US pop star Katy Perry stole the show as last night's X Factor left one contestant in tears and another in hospital.Perry wore a risqué corseted tigress outfit as she performing her single new Roar.

Katy celebrated Halloween a few weeks early, dressed as a sexy tiger, surrounded by a bunch of masked businessmen. Except, wait, they aren’t businessmen at all! We’re not really sure what it all means, but it was visually striking nonetheless.

Just Jared points out that Perry’s performance took place after spending a day in London with her boyfriend John Mayer, who was also performed in London last night, at the O2 Arena for his Born And Raised tour. Don’t you just love it when a plan comes together?

The 28-year-old singer's outfit included a pair of tiger ears, elbow-length gloves and a pair or bright red strappy heels. 

Interviewed by X Factor host Dermot O'Leary after her barnstorming performance, Perry said: 'I get to dress up like a big cat so I love this song. I feel grrreat!' 

Asked by O'Leary if she would ever consider being an X Factor judge herself, she replied: "Oh my goodness, I would to give constructive criticism because it's actually really hard out there when you're an artist!"
