Ariana Grande Opens Up On Nathan Sykes Romance and Meetings - Video

Ariana Grande may be pint-sized but the singer is certainly one of the fiercest stars in pop after lashing out allegations that she had cheated on her ex-boyfriend, claims which she now says are “hurtful,” while also dishing the details on her budding romance with The Wanted star Nathan Sykes.

The 'Right There' singer was stunned earlier this week to learn that her former boyfriend Janoskian YouTube sensation Jai Brooks was accusing her of cheating on him with Nathan, just days after the pair confirmed their new relationship, prompting Ariana to blast Jai in a Twitter rant.

EntertainmentWise caught up with the gorgeous pop star in London this week to discuss how negative rumours such as the cheating claims and nasty comments about her romance with Nathan effect her.

“It can be hurtful when you read into it and you allow it to hurt you but at the end of the day you have to stand for yourself and you have to know your truth and you have to know that you are doing the right things and you're just living your life and you're going to talk because these people don't know you,” Ariana told us.

“I feel that if I had the chance to have a conversation with each and every one of my haters, they would leave being like 'Oh, she's actually pretty chilled.' But I don't have the opportunity and sometimes you've just got to turn it off and delete the Twitter app for a couple of days.”

“We were still trying to figure it out, we both have really open relationships with our fans so we wanted to tell them when there was something to know because we didn't want them to find out through some outlet or some weird source,” Ariana says.

“So we just felt like it would be more honest to tell them straight up because if there's something to be said I'd rather it come from me and him and we felt the same way.”

Meanwhile, Ariana is currently in London to promote her smash hit debut album 'Truly Yours,' which scored a number one on the US Billboard charts last month and boasts the hit singles 'The Way' featuring Mac Miller, 'Baby I' and 'Right There,' a collaboration with Big Sean which is set to be her next release.
