Parineeti Chopra was firmly in the driver's (or shall we say, rider) seat with Salman Khan for company at a recent event!

 Salman looked happy to be in the back seat for once.

 The actors were promoting a new two-wheeler that's out in the market.

 Salman swapped spots with Parineeti but he doesn't look half as comfortable as she was.

Daboo Ratnani's Calendar 2014 — Bollywood's Starriest Sexiest Men And Babes!

Like every year, ace photographer Dabboo Ratnani is out with the starriest and sexiest calendar of the year! 

One of the most sought after event of the year was a star studded one. Amidst a bevy of stars, photographer Dabboo Ratnani launched his glamorous 2014 calendar. So who all made it to the calendar this year? Take a look! 

Known for capturing film actors in hatke avatar, Dabboo once again pulled out a stunning spread. Parineeti Chopra's picture inside the wheel barrow caught everyone's attention at the exhibition. 

 Aishwarya Rai, looked gorgeous as usual in the photo clicked by Dabboo Ratnani. The Bachchans feature regularly in Ratnani's calendar. 

 Ajay Devgn and his wife Kajol both feature on Dabboo Ratnani's calendar this year.

 Alia Bhatt, whose next film is Imtiaz Ali's 'Highway', posed for Dabboo Ratnani's calendar. 

Anushka Sharma's picture was understated and classy. The actress, who is rumoured to be dating cricketer Virat Kohli, was not present at the event. 

 Vidya Balan's photograph was sensual and classy- something that only Vidya could pull off.  

 Arjun Rampal sported tattoos for Dabboo's calendar. The actor was seen clicking his photograph with his phone camera.

 The gorgeous Bipasha Basu sports leather hot pants and biker jacket for the calendar.

The reigning number one, Deepika Padukone had to be a part of the calendar. Padukone wore a black number for the shoot.  

 Abhishek Bachchan has been a regular on Ratnani's annual calendars.

 Another regular on Ratnani's calendar is actor Hrithik Roshan. The actor gave the event a miss this year.  

 A very different avatar of Sonakshi Sinha on Dabboo Ratnani's calendar. Sonakshi came with her brother Luv for the event and even posed with her picture. 

 The gorgeous Kareena Kapoor's black and white photo is simple yet stunning.

Parineeti Chopra's Surprisingly Sweet Rejoinder To Alia Bhatt's Bitchy Barb

Bollywood is littered with petty insecurities and not even the A-listers shy away from despicable acts like planting negative stories about their contemporaries or dropping sly jabs in interviews whenever they get the chance.

The latest to join the fray is Alia Bhatt, not even a year old, but still feeling entitled enough to let loose bitchy comment. On Koffee With Karan, the 'Student Of The Year' actress started off by admitting that Parineeti Chopra made her insecure, leading us to momentarily believe that we might finally have in her, an actress who's not afraid to be entirely honest with themself.

Alas, the sentiment was not to last. In KJo's Rapid fire round, when asked who she'd gift the book 'Style For Dummies' to, Alia, with an unkind titter and hollow disclaimer, proclaimed that Pari needed it the most.

And so when the actress stepped out the other day to promote 'Hasee Toh Phasee', journalists rubbed their hands in gleeful anticipation, expecting Pari to have her claws out.

Deepika Padukone Approached For Sooraj Barjatya's Next Flick With Salman Khan

Much has been said about Deepika wanting to work with Salman and vice versa. Looks like the two superstars will indeed come together for Barjatya’s next

Yes! Deepika Padukone has been approached for a Sooraj Barjatya film starring Salman Khan.

The superstar will be teaming up with Barjatya for a film after 14 years. Their last outing together was 'Hum Saath Saath Hain'.

"Sooraj ji met her (Deepika) at her birthday party. Talks are on with her but nothing is finalized yet. Lot of actresses have interest in this film and he is meeting other actresses as well," sources close to the development told PTI.

"We have not finalised anyone yet. Lot of speculation is happening over the heroine of the film. Things will be finalised in 15 days or so," the source said.

Several names have come up for the leading lady like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Katrina Kaif, Ilena D'Cruz, Anushka Sharma, Parineeti Chopra, Nargis Fakhri and others.

The yet to be titled film is likely to go on floors in June next year. The shooting might take place in Mumbai, Gujarat and Rajasthan.

Parineeti Chopra looked like a daisy, impressed the audience, and Sidharth Malhotra sure was the show-stealer, since it his very rare appearance in a long time. And also, he is a thorough charmer! And how is the trailer?

Well, one look and you are reminded for Dimple Chaddha of Ladies VS Ricky Bahl, or Gayatri of Shuddh Desi Romance, and now: Meeta in Hasee Toh Phasee. Any difference? Nope!

 Parineeti Chopra is getting typecast and typical with the kind of roles she is selecting. In Hasee Toh Phasee too she is essaying a role of a tomboy, happy-go-lucky kind of a girl, who eats toothpaste and Sidharth Malhota, as Nikhil, comes across as a matured, but confused, kind of a boy. As the trailer progresses, one can see the transformation in Parineeti as Meeta. From a short haired tomboy, who refuses to smile, to a party goer who dances like a maniac, to finally a girl who is in love. What an original and fresh idea, isn’t it?

Adah Sharma, who was last seen in Hum Hain Raahi Car Ke, plays the second female lead in Hasee Toh Phasee.

 Couple of hours prior to release of the trailer, an excited Karan Johar, tweeted, “Feb 7th. Love goes Cuckin Frazy. Dharma and Phantom collaborate for the first time!”

Anurag Kashyap, who is very excited about this project, said, “The story works with fresh faces, but requires a high level of chemistry and maturity in the performances. After spending months, shortlisting various actors, we finalized Sidharth and Parineeti.”

 The rom-com is directed by adman-turned director Vinil Mathew, and produced under the banner of Dharma Productions and Phantom Films. Hasee Toh Phasee is slated to release on February 7, 2014.

In the end, all that feels from the trailer is that the actors and the makers are trying really hard to justify the punch line on the poster, “Love Goes Cuckin Frazy.” Indeed!

"Hasee Toh Phasee" First Official Trailer Out — Ft. Sidharth Malhotra And Parineeti Chopra

Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra are on a roll! Yes, the trailer of their upcoming film, Hasee Toh Phasee, sees the two young Bollywood actors having some real fun. And since the film is Sidharth's second after Student of the Year, we are curious to check out the chemistry between him and co-star Parineeti in this one.

Hasee Toh Phasee is produced by Karan Johar and directed by ad-filmmaker Vinil Mathew. The other actress in the film is Adah Sharma, who was seen in 1920 directed by Vikram Bhatt. The Parineeti-Sidharth starrer is a rom-com and is expected to release in February 2014.

The poster of the film Hasee Toh Phasee very well captures different moods of both the actors. Filmmaker Karan Johar released the first poster of upcoming Dharma and Phantom Production 'Hasee Toh Phasee' on Twitter. Lead actors of the film Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra had wrapped up the shooting of 'Hasee Toh Phasee' on September 21, 2013.

Trade analyst and film critic announced on Twitter, that the first trailer of the film will be launched tomorrow on December 13, 2013.

The last leg of the shoot was a song picturised on the lead actors at a location in Mumbai's Juhu area. The romcom is directed by adman-turned director Vinil Mathew and also stars Adah Sharma.

'Hasee Toh Phasee' is slated to release on February 7.
