Gorgeous Madhuri Dixit Trains In Kung Fu Fighting For Gulaab Gang — Photos!

The trailer of Madhuri Dixit's upcoming film 'Gulaab Gang' has Madhuri Dixit doing many high-octane action sequences as she leads her Gulaab Gang against injustice.

The man behind these stunts, Kanishka Sharma, who has choreographed Madhuri’s stunts in Gulaab Gang reveals the strenuous training and hard work by the actress for the film!
He says, “The brief given to me by director Soumik Sen was to design the stunts in a manner that they look both aesthetic as well as realistic. It couldn't be as gritty as Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, neither could it be as suave as the Matrix," adding that he trained Madhuri in rare martial art forms like Shaolin Kungfu, Pekiti Tirsia Kali and Shaolin Chin-na.

“I was taken aback by Madhuri's agility and her pitch-perfect timing! I extensively trained Madhuri for a month in Shaolin Kung Fu, besides stick training, Shaolin joint locking, Kali knife, short stick and of course, close combat” he further adds.
“I remember a scene where Madhuri had to twist a man's arm and kick him hard. I rehearsed with her for a few hours before the shot, but was a little apprehensive. Later, I was shocked at how comfortably she pulled it off. She makes all my otherwise tiring action look effortless on screen!” says Kanishka.

Gulaab Gang stars Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla in lead roles, and releases on March 07 2014.

Gulaab Gang Theatrical Trailer ft. Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Juhi Chawla

If the first poster of 'Gulaab Gang' made you do a double take, you'll feel punch drunk after watching the trailer!

Madhuri Dixit-Nene is seen kicking a$$ with style in the theatrical trailer of 'Gulaab Gang' that released at midnight on Friday. Watch it here:
In the film, Madhuri leads a band of female vigilantes and finds herself at odds with the local corrupt politician played by Juhi Chawla.

The trailer gives us a glimpse of the ladies as we've never seen them before. While Madhuri has had some tough roles (she played a cop in 'Khalnayak'), Juhi, as the evil neta, is completely out of her sweetheart comfort zone.

Dedh Ishqiya Movie Review : Madhuri, Naseeruddin Sizzle in Delicious Sequel to Ishqiya

Dedh Ishqiya is a sequel to the zany 2010 black comedy Ishqiya. Like its prequel, the idiom and the setting are rural. The spoken language is Hindi with a peppering of heavy-duty Urdu. Thank God for the English subtitles in circuits except the Hindi belt! What's also nice is the contemporary thought woven in (with references to Iphone-5 and hamburgers in New York). So, the desi-yuppies can connect.

Rating :3.5 out of 5

The plot, with many interesting twists, is about the irrepressible team of crooks, Khallu and Babban (Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi respectively). When these two arrive in Mehmudabad, Naseer finds himself magnetically drawn to the local heiress, Begum Para (Madhuri Dixit Nene). And Arshad falls head over heels in love with the Begum's aide, Muniya (Huma Qureshi). The uncle-nephew team chase their love interests and build castles in the air about sex, life and wealth.

The women, Begum Para and Muniya, also have a back-story. Para is the widow of a debauched Nawab who gambled away his wealth on men and wine. Her crazy suitor, Jaan Mohammad ( Vijay Raaz) wants to bail her out.

In their attempt to live happily ever after, Begum and Muniya devise their own Thelma and Louise (the 1991 Hollywood flick) kind of plan. Not willing to give up, Khallu and Baban try hard to fit in.

Vishal Bharadwaj's dialogue keeps you in splits. The free usage of words like sex and chu**yapaa tickle the funny bone. Naseer is back in super-form after straying in outings like Jackpot. Ditto Arshad. Madhuri looks gorgeous but the dhak-dhak girl (now woman) falls short on the oomph meter, as compared to Vidya Balan in Ishqiya. Huma Qureshi is interesting.

Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Zarine Khan Strikes at Saifai Mahotsava — Photos!

Under flak for spending crores of rupees on Saifai Mahotsava at a time when Muzaffarnagar riot victims were "left out in the cold", the ancestral village of chief minister Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday witnessed Bollywood stars, including Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Ranvir Singh, Karishma Tanna, Alia Bhatt and Sonal Chauhan, gyrating to popular Bollywood numbers.

Even as protests grow against the UP government's excesses, Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Zarine Khan jetted off to Saifai to take part in the fortnight-long cultural event, 'Saifai Mahotsav'.
The event has invited widespread criticism given the state of affairs of the common man in Uttar Pradesh at the moment. Still, Madhuri was seen arriving at the airport on Wednesday in Saifai here.
Salman Khan was personally greeted by Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.

Dedh Ishqiya Song "Horn Ok Please" ft Yo Yo Honey Singh

Dedh Ishqiya‘s latest song Horn ok please is total dhamaal number!  Yo Yo Honey Singh renders a fun and a different song after giving back-to-back hits like Lungi dance for Shahrukh Khan’s Chennai Express and Party all night for Akshay Kumar’s Boss. Our guess is that Horn ok please will be to Dedh Ishqiya what Dil toh bachcha hai ji was to Ishqiya.

While the song has a trademark quirkiness of a Honey Singh, it also takes you away from what you have seen of the popular rapper whose demand in Bollywood is increasing with every passing hit. Think of Dedh Ishqiya as a Vishal Bharadwaj film directed by Abhishek Chaubey featuring Naseeruddin Shah, Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Arshad Warsi and Huma Qureshi in a rural set up,  you wonder where will Yo Yo fit? Joining Honey Singh in this number are Sukhwinder Singh and Anushka Manchanda. Trust us, a glimpse of this track gets us groovy, so we just cannot wait to watch the full song.

And yes, along with Honey Singh’s voice one cannot miss the sizzling chemistry between the Khalu (Naseer) and Baban (Arshad). While the film might hit the theatres only on Jan 10, get ready to rock your New Year’s eve with yet another peppy number from Honey Singh!

First Look Of Dedh Ishqiya: Madhuri Dixit Will Make Our Heart Go 'Dhak Dhak'

Bollywood's "Dhak-Dhak" Girl Madhuri Dixit looks absolutely stunning in a still from her upcoming black comedy thriller 'Dedh Ishqiya', a sequel to hit film 'Ishiya', which had Vidya Balan in the lead.

Madhuri Dixit, who plays Begum Para in the film, resembles the age-old regal royal Indian beauty in her first look.

Madhuri, who had once ruled the Bollywood industry and is considered as the silver screen queen, is back again and this time, she'll be seen in the movie Dedh Ishqiya, opposite Arshad Warsi and Naseeruddin Shah.

After making the fans wait for long, the makers of Dedh Ishqiya have finally released the first look of the film, that portrays the gorgeous Madhuri Dixit as Begum Para. Madhuri looks stunning and ageless in the first poster and her expressions in it are something to die for. If sources are to be believed, the character of Begum portrayed by Madhuri was written keeping her in mind.

"It was a role written exclusively for Madhuri. She plays the Begum. Vidya's character had nothing left in it to take the story forward. So there was no way that I could've included her in Dedh Ishqiya," director Abhishek Chaubey said.

Dedh Ishqiya is a black comedy thriller film and a sequel to Ishqiya, that had seen Vidya Balan, Arshad and Naseeruddin Shah in the leads.

'Dedh Ishqiya' Was Written Exclusively For Madhuri Dixit - Abhishek Chaubey

Bollywood film director Abhishek Chaubey says he always had actress Madhuri Dixit in his mind for the sequel of 'Ishqiya'.

'Dedh Ishqiya' a black comedy thriller film directed by Abhishek Chaubey that stars Madhuri Dixit, Arshad Warsi, Naseeruddin Shah, and Huma Qureshi in the lead roles.

The film is a sequel to 2010 hit film 'Ishqiya' that featured Vidya Balan in the lead. She bagged the best actress award at various award functions.

The makers revealed that for the role of Begum in 'Dedh Ishqiya' Madhuri was the only choice as the character was written keeping her in mind. Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj was in touch with the actress for the role even before she had shifted back to India from the USA.

"It was a role written exclusively for Madhuri. She plays the Begum. Vidya's character had nothing left in it to take the story forward. So there was no way that I could've included her in 'Dedh Ishqiya'," Chaubey said.

The sequel will see Arshad and Naseeruddin reprising their roles and is said to release next year.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Come-Back With An Item Number - Read!

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Come-Back With An Item Number

It seems Aishwarya Rai will mince her way back to films not with a full-fledged role but with an item number.

The 39-year-old beauty, who took a maternity break from films in 2011 and has since pitched herself headlong into motherhood, is contemplating a comeback now that the sweet Aaradhya Bachchan is going to be two come November. She has admitted to getting offers from various filmmakers, but it looks like Sanjay Leela Bhansali will steal a march over everyone else.

Buzz is that Bhansali wants Aishwarya Rai to do a special item number for his film Ram Leela, starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in leading roles.

Earlier, the filmmaker had reportedly tossed the offer to Madhuri Dixit, but things didn’t materialize. This time he’s said to have approached his all-time favourite Ash whom he has directed in three films: Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas and Guzaarish.

It’s learnt that Ash hasn’t turned down the offer, so she may be considering it seriously. So far, she has done just one item song, 'Kajra Re', which is an all-time hit.

When contacted, Sanjay Leela Bhansali denied approaching Ash for the item in Ram Leela, but insiders insist that he wants to keep it hush-hush until things are finalized.

If Aishwarya Rai indeed gives her nod, it would mark her return to the big screen after

Madhuri Dixit and Naseeruddin Shah To Get intimate In Dedh Ishqiya!

Director Abhishek Chaubey says it wasn’t a cakewalk to shoot the passionate scene...

Madhuri Dixit and Naseeruddin Shah, actors par excellence, will be showing some of their jalwa together in Dedh Ishqiya. While Mads is known for adding that aesthetic value to whatever she does, Shah is known for creating a realistic effect in his performances. So even if it’s a lovemaking scene in this Abhishek Chaubey venture, we can already imagine Ms Dixit and Naseer saab do absolute justice to such passionate moments. And it’s a double treat of sorts as Huma Qureshi and Arshad Warsi too will be seen hopping into the bandwagon.

If you are looking for more masala – we hear there will be a mazedaar mujra sequence by the graceful Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6 judge in the film. We wonder why the director is saying that shooting intense romantic scenes is a difficult task. With such talented and professional actors on board, we can only imagine the tension levels to drop by a few notches…
