'Highway' Trailer Release Event — Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda Glimpse Together

Imtiaz Ali's next film "Highway", a relationship film on the roads, comes across as a visual delight with rustic paths, snow-clad mountains and desert. The cast of the film came together to launch the trailer of the film.

With reports of some steamy scenes between Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda in the film, Alia fielded a lot of questions denying that such scenes existed at all.And everyone was pleasantly surprised to see AR Rahman walk in for the trailer launch. Guess the curious souls will now have to wait and watch the film for themselves to know for sure! Also here were Dinesh Vijan and Bhushan Kumar.

The movie is a road journey traversing six states of north India and it features actors Alia and Randeep Hooda in the lead role. Alia's look is diametrically different from what audiences saw her in her debut film "Student Of The Year".

 Alia Bhatt says she was confused when director Imtiaz Ali first approached her for his upcoming film Highway. The romantic drama, helmed by Ali, is Alia's second film after Student of The Year, which hit the theatres in 2012.

 "I was a bit confused when Imtiaz came with the offer. At the same time I was overwhelmed that he came up with a challenging film and role," said Alia.

 The 20-year-old said she is nervous about how the audience will receive the film, which releases on February 21. The film has been shot in six states of North India and it captures the landscape of different regions.

"I am nervous and will remain so till the film releases. It keeps me on my toes. Working on the film was an amazing experience and I enjoyed this journey a lot."

"I learnt a lot while working with Randeep. He spoke about motivation and following your thoughts," Alia said.

The trailer of Imtiaz Ali ‘Highway’ is out, and the film looks promising indeed. The trailer features Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda, who are playing characters from different backgrounds. These characters take the road trip across six states in a truck. 

The trailer shows a young and chirpy Alia Bhatt getting ‘transported’ to another place by Randeep & Gang. This is basically a coming of age story of the two characters but it seems more of Alia’s film. Remember Kareena Kapoor from ‘Jab We Met’?

The film has been produced by the titans of Bollywood UTV Motion Pictures and Sajid Nadiadwala and will be out in theatres on February 21.

One-film old, Alia Bhatt comes across as a cute bubbly babe. Though she wore a bikini in Student of the Year, the Bhatt girl did not look really sexy. So, when we glanced at the latest still from her upcoming film, Highway, we were quite surprised!

In the steamy still, we can see Randeep Hooda getting close to Alia Bhatt! Ahem! While our hunkalicious Randeep is shirtless, Alia is seen in casual night clothes… It’s too early to conclude if there’s any sizzling chemistry or not between the 20-year old and the 37-year old.

So, we’ll patiently wait for more stills from Highway. Meanwhile, Randeep Hooda has kissed yet another man in John Day. So we hope Alia Bhatt can deliver a love-making scene which is steamier than Randeep’s other kissing act!

Anushka Khanna unveils her Fall/Winter 2013 Collection titled Starry, Starry Nightwith a campaign featuring the stunning Alia Bhatt.

The Student of the Year actor, was a natural choice, for Khanna’s collection which is all about fresh, easy glamour. Shot by travel and documentary photographer Hashim Badani, the campaign echoes the contemporary look of the collection.

In the video, the Highway actor looks cute as well as classy, as she does the ‘Robot’ dance and pretty much anything else she wants to, showcasing her ease in front of the camera. We quite like this young bundle of energy!

Anushka’s collection also goes with Alia’s vibrant persona – she has embroidered sweatshirts, track pants to work as eveningwear, slip dresses for the red carpet in black, white, navy blue and grey…uber cool! The video is directed by photo man Arjun Menon and the print ad has been shot by travel and documentary photographer Hashim Badani.
