We waited months for the first glimpse of their baby North West - but it didn't take long for Kim Kardashian to show off her enormous diamond engagement ring.

The wife-to-be of controversial rapper Kanye West was beaming with joy as she posed with her left hand raised towards the cameras.

Kim looked totally loved-up in the new picture which was posted on Instagram by her stylist.

Ever the romantic, Kanye popped the question to the curvy reality TV star on her 33rd birthday,

And where did the rapper choose to pop the question? He only went and rented out AN ENTIRE basketball stadium. As you do.

The 36-year-old proposed to Kim in front of the Kardashian klan, and cameras for Keeping Up With The Kardashians - reports E!.

It wasn't clear if the couple, who are parents to baby North West, were going to spend Kim's birthday together, the gorgeous reality star was spotted boarding a private jet with her family in Los Angeles while Kanye was in San Francisco at the Hollywood Film Awards.

The Yeezus hitmaker also cancelled his scheduled gigs and sacked off thousands of his adoring fans to make Kim his fiancée.

Sure, it's all a bit of a circus and to be honest, there's a much easier way of celebrating Kim's birthday and their engagement - by staring at her 33 sexiest pictures, obviously.

Exclusive - Ginnifer Goodwin Engaged To Josh Dallas

"Once Upon a Time" co-stars Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas are engaged, a rep for the couple confirmed to ABC News today.

It's a fairyale ending for actress Ginnifer Goodwin as she's confirmed her engagement to her Once Upon a Time co-star Josh Dallas after the star popped the question earlier this week.

In a statement to People magazine the love birds confirmed they're set to tie the knot, claiming: "We are so thrilled to announce our engagement and can't wait to celebrate with our friends and family, including our second family at Once Upon a Time,"

The couple met on the set of Once Upon a Time, though started off as "just friends" as Dallas was married to Sherlock star Lara Pulver at the time.

"They were shooting in Canada together," a source told E! News, "and because they were both away from home, they inevitably started to socialize together off the set as well as on—and they got closer as friends."

Following Dallas' split from Pulver the couple soon became an item and the source claims "it was then that his connection to Ginnifer deepened and they fell in love."

"The relationship has been full-on since the moment it turned romantic," the source explained, "and they spend every moment together. There was no reason to wait and take it slow—they fell in love, and it feels right."
