After successful hit 'Om Shanti Om', Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone have yet again paired for an action comedy 'Chennai Express'.
The trailer of the film has given the movie buffs the film's essence. The trailer states, "Come fall in love Rohit Shetty ishtyle".
The film is slated to be released on August 8, 2013.
Deepika maintains that it was difficult to play a Tamil girl in the film as she had to work hard on the look and accent.
To ensure the film finds several takers, Rohit Shetty has shot its songs, which play an instrumental role in grabbing eyeballs, in a striking manner.
While the song has been sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, Arijit Singh and Neeti Mohan, its lyrics has been written by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
Since its shooting, 'Chennai Express' has been making headlines.
Shah Rukh Khan plays the love interest of Deepika Padukone in the film.
Kashmir main, tu Kanyakumari', the new song from 'Chennai Express' celebrates the joy of love between Rahul (Shah Rukh Khan), a North Indian man and Meenalochani (Deepika Padukone), a Tamilian girl.
Ever since the trailer of the film has been released, Rohit Shetty has been making headlines.
But unlike Rohit Shetty's other films, 'Chennai Express' is not an out-and-out action film, but it will also show the love story.
'Chennai Express' is the first film in which Shah Rukh Khan will work with Rohit Shetty.
'Kashmir main, tu Kanyakumari' has been shot in the tea estates of Munnar.
Shah Rukh Khan said in an interview to PTI, that it was special working with Deepika again.
The inclusion of Kathakali dancers, Pulikali (Tiger dance of South) artistes and lungi-clad performers makes the song look appealing.
If Shah Rukh and Deepika will be able to deliver a hit again is yet to be seen.
