National Television Awards Fashion: The Best And Worst Dressed Celebrities!

The National Television Awards is always a glitzy affair, with stars of the small screen spending weeks if not months planning out their red carpet outfits in a bid to attract the most attention.

And 2014’s offering was no different, with telly’s most glamorous girls pulling out all the stops to set the flashbulbs off.

From the classy to the trashy, we saw it all, as the ladies took their places on the carpet outside London’s O2 Arena.

Holly Willoughby, who presents This Morning alongside Phillip Schofield, played it safe as usual, but looked stunning nonetheless, in a black floor-length gown, with a v-neck sweetheart neckline.

Abbey Clancy was lady in red, with the model and television personality looking absolutely striking in a full-length high-necked red scarlet dress, that perfectly set off her blonde hair.

Rochelle Humes, one fifth of The Saturdays who is married to singer Marvin Humes, also turned heads in a gorgeous deep purple lace gown that perfectly showed off her enviable post-baby body.

 But not all dresses turned heads for the right reasons; Kelly Brook has hit the headlines today for sporting a rather see-through gown that shows off her nipples and breasts.

Hollyoaks babe Jennifer Metcalfe also flashed the flesh in a gothic, sheer gown.

Julia Roberts, Heidi Klum, Sandra Bullock And Many Worst Dressed Celebrities at Golden Globes Awards 2014

Each year at the Golden Globes, there are stars who get it horribly wrong on the red carpet. This year too,  many turned heads for all the wrong reasons. Here are some not so impressive gowns which we spotted at the 71st Golden Globe Awards.

Julia Roberts: We think that ‘Pretty Woman’ Julia Roberts forgot to shave her armpits again! Or else, why would somebody wear a white shirt underneath a beautiful strapless black gown?

Elisabeth Moss: Don’t you think ‘Mad Men’ star looks a bit scary in this oxblood sequined J.Mendel dress?

 Heidi Klum: Supemodel Heidi Klum tries too hard to flaunt her cleavage. This time too, the plunging neckline made this intricate Marchesa dress gawdy, not to forget that not so charming choker. Not cool, Heidi.

Kaley Cuoco: Why, Kaley, why? This dress is too dull for a colourful personality like you.

Lena Dunham: This yellow Zac Posen dress is not complementing Lena Dunham's voluptuous figure.

Paula Patton: We understand the pressure of coming up with 'somethin new' at the red carpet.  But this Paula, simply looks like a white cabbage leaf on your shoulder.

Reese Witherspoon: Too simple and too dreary, we expected a surprising appearance from Reese, but alas!

Sandra Bullock: We love the Prabal Gurung collection, but this one piece is just not tailored for Gravity star.
