Having aced the red carpet at Cannes this year, style diva Sonam Kapoor sizzles in a bodysuit on the cover of the June issue of Vogue magazine.
The Cute Raanjhanaa star appears on two editions of the renowned fashion glossy in the same month. It’s raining style!
Sonam Kapoor is a risk-taker, one who brings in a breath of fresh air with her innovative style ideas and designer wear on the red carpet. The 28-year-old has been subject to some harsh criticism, but that doesn’t stop her from trying out different concepts as far as styling is concerned. Sonam has also been appreciated for her ability to carry whatever she wears with tremendous panache.
And here’s the Raanjhanaa actor on two covers of the Vogue India June 2013 issue. It is nice to see the babe adorning both editions of the famous glossy at the same time! And going by her different avatars, we could not help but feel the urge to decode the Kapoor gal’s sartorial wisdom.
Posing gracefully in gorgeous Alexander McQueen couture, Sonam is elegance personified. The voluminous red gown embellished with flowers is not exactly our idea of a fashion masterclass (hasn’t Sonam worn a similar outfit before?), but the lady’s lithe body and slender limbs make her look more graceful than ever. The chandelier earrings from Dolce and Gabbana add a significant charm to the dramatic look. The hair and make-up could have been better, but the babe has pulled of a noteworthy cover with her stylish personality.
The second cover is certainly more daring. So far we have seen Sonam in some seriously well-crafted designer creations, but here she is – probably for the first time ever – indulging in a bit of skin show….and we are not complaining! Wearing a silk bodysuit by Viktor & Rolf the Kapoor gal looks edgy, confident in her own skin and radically different from the way she generally projects herself. We hear she went through a whole new regimen of diet and exercise to look this way and loves it – so do we! The Chanel ‘Cubic’ pumps and Nirav Modi diamonds are in sync with the understated yet liberally bold look. Sonam’s long black hair and her skin tone make this cover hatke, if not thrillingly impressive.
