It has been one heck of a year for Bella. The ‘Shake It Up’ star celebrated her Sweet 16 on Oct. 8, so it’s only necessary to take a look back through her amazing moments!
It’s shocking to us that Bella Thorne is only 16 — she’s had such a great, successful career already! Not only is she always rocking flawless beauty and funky fashion, she’s also been working on new films and giving back. We’re celebrating what an amazing year she’s had.
Bella Thorne Collaborates With Drew Barrymore
Bella has been in South Africa this year where she’s filming Blended, co-starring Drew Barrymore! It’s so awesome that she’s working with someone who she really admires.
However, it’s not just on-screen that they’re working together. They realized on set that they both love Flower Beauty cosmetics — which is Drew’s line. So, Bella paired up with her to do a “Tip Tuesday” tutorial — and we couldn’t get enough!
While in South Africa, she even visited Sparrow Village Orphanage where she volunteered and played with kids who are suffering from HIV/AIDS. So sweet!
Bella Adds Writer To Her Resume
In addition to singing and acting, Bella also signed onto her first official book deal with Random House Children’s Books, and is writing a fiction series called, Autumn Falls.
The first book will be about a 14-year-old girl whose life is transformed after she discovers the power of magic. She told The Hollywood Reporter that it’s inspired by different parts of her life and that it’s important to her that her books relate to other girls her age — “with a little bit of magic.”
Overall, it’s been an amazing year for Bella, and we can’t wait to see her upcoming films, Blended, The Family Moon and Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.
