Gehana Vasisth is no stranger to controversy. But the model-turned-actress, who was arrested for a controversial photo shoot in which she reportedly insulted the national flag, seems to have put behind her all the negative experiences behind her and is now doing a couple of Telugu films!
The actress, who is in the city for the film's shooting, says she now wants to focus only on acting. "Yes, I have committed a few mistakes and I don't want to repeat it. I want to act in the South because the industry is very professional and encouraging. People are also very dedicated about their work and are very punctual."

Gehana is starring in Telugu films like 'Punch', 'Manishi' and 'B.Tech Lovers'. Raving on about the Southern film industry, she says, "Many actresses in Bollywood like Genelia, Ileana, Kajal, Asin and even Taapsee, started big here. So, I want to follow their footsteps" Apart from these, the actress says she is also part of the Hindi film 'Kaanch', which is being directed by Kalpana Lajmi.
