All is not well on the sets of the new Hrithik Roshan – Katrina Kaif starrer. They are shooting in Bangkok and the schedule is riddled with problems.
We beg, why make a re-make of a clumsy Tom Cruise – Cameron Diaz film – Knight And Day? First is was called Wichata (wha, what?) and then Trouble Man (ah there) and then KAD. Now we have it in Hindi called Bang Bang. Sure the makers could not call it Yodha Aur Raat (direct translation) – umm, sounds way cheese.
Bang Bang shooting at a Bangkok remote resort location means heat, rash, power cuts and the tantrum of stars not getting ready for shots on time. The crew shooting on location has been stranded in hell. The weather has also been playing truant. When its supposed to be sunny, its been raining forever. Crew has had to pack up shoot on many occasion because of that.
Rooms in the evening where the crew is stationed, plunges into darkness, and much bang bang in the night time. What other bang bang are you hearing?
Many other upheavals with the film’s schedule. Director Siddharth Anand lost his pa-in-law while on a shoot in Spain. Naturally, film shoot took a slow turn in the clear waters of a cruise ship where some shots were being filmed.
Fox Star Studios which is producing the film (same studio to roll out Knight And Day) has gone over-budget at 65 crore. KAD was 125 million!!! They barely got their money back at the box-office. Then why spin it again in Hindi? Your own critically panned, bad film!
God help them. They are trying to mint this on the chemistry of Hrithik-Katrina in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
Umm, that was just the trailer, we think. We want to see proper bang bang!! What say?
