Click The Pic of The Day- Priyanka Chopra, Shraddha Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez

The divas got together yesterday for the Grazia Young Fashion Awards…

You know it can get hot as hell when Priyanka Chopra, Shraddha Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez and Nargis Fakhri are in the same room. And that is exactly what happened recently at the Grazia Young Fashion Awards where these four divas came together to be awarded for their individual, impeccable and unique style sense!

PC, Jacky, Shraddha and Nargis together to click the most epic picture! All the fiery divas are exuding so much oomph which is too hot to handle. Shraddha is totally having a fangirl moment with PC standing next to her as she has been quoted in interviews saying that she wants to take Priyanka on a trip to Paris. Jacqueline is flaunting her epic pouting skills while Nargis is keeping it cool with a charming smile. We think that this picture is awesome because it has actresses, who are professional rivals posing together, which proves that cat-fights between contemporaries in a thing of the past!

Each of the actresses made a statement on the red carpet with what they wore. PC was all decked up like a semi-princess in a black Ashi Studio dress while Jacqueline wore an Armani Prive dress. Shraddha wore a sequinned short dress and Nargis too wore a short dress but it was quite understated, unlike Shraddha’s.

Ouch! Sonam Kapoor Saves Jacqueline Fernandez From Big Wardrobe Malfunction

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez had an oops! moment at the 59th Idea Filmfare Awards nominations bash held at Hotel Hyatt Regency in Mumbai on Wednesday. But she was saved the blushes by her BFF Sonam Kapoor.

Jacqueline Fernandez was walking the carpet and posing for the shutterbugs when something at the back of her black Emilio Pucci mini gave away. Instead of running for cover, Jacqueline Fernandez enlisted her best friend and fashion co-conspirator Sonam Kapoor to fix the glitch.

Like a true friend, Sonam stepped behind Jackky and got busy mending the wardrobe malfunction. Aware that the paparazzi were clicking them, the huddled girls were all giggles. Jackky knew she was in good hands, and all it took Sonam is a few minutes to repair the snag.
Sonam Kapoor seemed to be making sure Jacqueline Fernandez's dress wasn't going to fall apart.
Sonam Kapoor was in a naughty mood when she caught up with new BFF Jacqueline Fernandez at the pre-Filmfare awards bash. Just what was she doing in this picture?
After all, what are friends for? Isn't it nice to see two actresses get along?

However, all that Sonam was doing was giving poor Jacqueline a hand before a wardrobe malfunction took place!

Aishwarya Rai Inspires Jacqueline Fernandez for ‘Jadu Ki Jhappi - Video!

Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez, who sports a desi look in item number "Jadu Ki Jhappi", has taken inspiration from Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to give out a sizzling performance in the song.

"Jadu Ki Jhappi" is an item song from Girish Taurani-Shruti Haasan starrer "Ramaiya Vastavaiya". The song is a rustic number which was shot Chandigarh. Girish and choreographer Prabhu Dheva are also seen shaking a leg with Jacqueline.

Praising Aishwarya, who wooed the audience with her impeccable moves in the song "Kajra re" from "Bunty Aur Babli", Jacqueline said, "I think it was choreographed beautifully, Aishwarya was looking stunning...I love that song and I remember hearing it when I came to India, so it kind of remained and I think it was amazing. It is my favourite," IANS reported.

Choreographed by dancer turned filmmaker Prabhu Dheva , "Jadu Ki Jhappi" is Jacqueline's second item song. The 28-year-old actress received a good response for her maiden item song "Dhanno" from the film "Housefull".

Speaking at the launch event of the song, Jacqueline said, "I started rehearsing a week before the song's shoot with Prabhudheva's assistants. But he was not very happy with my work and initially found it too robotic. His choreography is difficult to match," Daily Mail reported.

The title of the song is inspired from Sanjay Dutt's famous dialogue in "Munna Bhai MBBS". Stating that no one can take away the phrase away from Sanjay Dutt the actress said, "Hopefully our song too will become famous like the phrase itself."

Directed by Prabhu Dheva and produced by Kumar Taurani, "Ramaiya Vastavaiya" is set to hit screens on 19 July.

We told you how Amitabh Bachchan and family seemed to have buried the hatchet with Wizcraft – organisers of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards. So it was expected that Big B, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan will be present at this year’s extravaganza in Macau.

Abhishek might host the ceremony with Jacqueline Fernandez (not confirmed) and also perform on stage at the IIFA Awards 2013, to be held from July 4-6 at The Venetian Macao hotel. Who Is The Next B-Queen?

Bollywood is always on a lookout for fresh faces and new talent. The burden of elevating the glam quotient of our films lies on the shoulders of the leading ladies, which makes it important for filmmakers to launch new female leads every other Friday.

The current lot of top heroines - Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Vidya Balan - is gradually getting choosy. Most of them have been around for a decade or close to a decade and they know overexposure could spell doom in an industry where heroines have a short shelf life.

That is where the new hot lot comes in. Sonakshi Sinha, Parineeti Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Jacqueline Fernandes, Richa Chaddha, Nargis Fakhri and Huma Qureshi are making their way to the top. Each of these girls is trying to carve a niche with a distinct image.

Most of these actresses have signed at least two to three films with prominent banners.

It is also interesting to note that each of these actresses is trying to experiment with roles and trying out newer scripts in order to acquire a USP. Bollywood has always been a male dominated bastion where nearing - 50 heroes constantly look for heroines half their age to keep up a youthful image. That is where a makeover in the heroinesâ € ™ roster becomes essential every few years. Filmmakers seem to be in the mood for a glamour overhaul for heroines at this point.

Alia Bhatt
Each actresses trying experiment roles trying scripts order acquire has been male dominated bastion nearing-constantly heroines keep is heroines' essential Filmmakers for Alia emerged as the child-woman of Bollywood. Her chirpy, stylish role in Student Of The Year came as a whiff fresh air in B-town and the actress instantly got attention of an accomplished filmmaker like Imtiaz Ali who cast her in Highway.

Coming up: Imtiaz Ali's Highway opposite Randeep Hooda and the Karan Joharproduced 2 States opposite Arjun Kapoor.

What works: Alia became an overnight youth sensation because she presented a perfect blend of innocence and chic in her debut role as rich brat Shanaya in Student Of The Year. The raw appeal is being tapped by Imtiaz Ali while Alia is trying to give a spin to her image by playing a Tamil beauty in 2 States opposite Arjun Kapoor, based on Chetan Bhagatâ € ™ s best seller.

What goes against: With her baby face and westernised image, Alia could easily get typecast. She will have to focus on mature roles at the same time because the candyfloss roles will dry out with advancing age. To establish herself as a complete package, she will have to carefully pick roles that are different from her image.

Huma Qureshi
Huma instantly became talk of the town with her raw appeal and unconventional look when she made her debut in Anurag Kashyap's Gangs Wasseypur, where she played small town Muslim girl Mohsina.

Coming up: Nikhil Advani's D-Day and Vishal Bhardwaj's Dedh Ishqiya. Michael Winterbottom's Trishna yet to release in India.

What works: Huma has emerged as the quintessential sex symbol of cerebral cinema, oozing effortless sensuality in Anurag Kashyap's Gangs Of Wasseypur. Her unusual attractiveness was tapped in her role of Mohsina, even as she appeared in gaudy outfits as against the designer wear mostly donned by her rivals.

What goes against: Huma's best has been seen so far only in Anurag Kashyap films. She needs to explore good options with other filmmakers to avoid being tagged as belonging to the Kashyap camp. She also needs to watch her weight to remain in the race...

Jacqueline Fernandez
Wannabe Katrina Kaif with her own charm
Ex-Miss Sri Lanka Jacqueline has wholly banked on the exotic glamour quotient that made Katrina Kaif a superstar. It has worked for her so far, considering she has already done six films in four years. Sajid Nadiadwala's Kick starring Salman Khan and Vicky Singh's Roy opposite Ranbir Kapoor.

What Works: Race 2 proved she can up the glam quotient sufficiently to steal the thunder even in a multi-starrer. The fact that Salman Khan gave his nod to cast her in his next film, Kick, also works positively for her.

What goes against: So far, she has been just another version of Katrina Kaif who has ruled the roost for a decade now. Jacqueline needs to give the foreign import image a twist if she wants to survive.

Nargis Fakhri
Latest Whiff of Exotic Oomph.
Nargis aims to get into the foreign - import bracket that became hot after Katrina Kaif.

Coming up: Shoojit Sirkar's Madras Cafe starring John Abraham, David Dhawan's Tu Mera Hero with Varun Dhawan and Rumi Jaffery's Shaukeen remake opposite Akshay Kumar. She has a three-film deal with Akshay's banner.

What works: The Half-Pakistani, half-Czech ex-model is relatively a fresh face and that should work for her.

What goes against: She is already 33 years old, not a great age to start off as a glam girl in an industry that constantly searches for new PYTs. Also, she needs to do something about her deadpan expressions that we saw in her debut film. Rockstar.

Parineeti Chopra
Versatile youngster with screen presence

Parineeti impressed with a relatively small role in her debut film, Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl before winning a special National Award for her second film, Ishaqzaade.

Coming up: Shaad Ali's Kill Dil opposite Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar's Hasee Toh Phasee opposite Siddharth Malhotra, Manish Sharma's next.

What works: With just two films, she has proved she is a skilled actress. She is wisely staying out of the glamour race and is positioning herself as a new-age mix of Vidya Balan and cousin Priyanka Chopra.

What goes against: She lacks the glamour of her star cousin Priyanka. In Bollywood, as we have seen in the case of Konkona Sen Sharma or Mahie Gill, simply banking on acting skills never lets you thrive.
Parineeti needs to take a few glamour tips from Priyanka.

Sonakshi Sinha
Desi Diva image with the right bloodline

Sonakshi's traditional image has worked in her favour. Being a star daughter, she got a smooth entry into films as also the support coming from salman Khan & Akshay Kumar. Back-to-back hits have established her as a saleable star.

Coming up: Vikramaditya's Motwane 's Lootera, Milan Luthria's Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai Again, Tigmanshu Dhulia's Bullet Raja, Prabhudeva's Rambo Rajkumar, besides Pistol and Welcome 2.

What works: Being the traditional actress has become a USP in an era when every other budding actress is trying to acquire an ultra-modern westernized image. Most of her upcoming films cast her in an indian image that has worked for her so far. She has also revealed a promising range as an actress till now.

What goes against: Sonakshi's disastrous item dance Thank God, It's Friday in Himmatwala showed her inability to be to be uber glamourous which, if you want to be a superstar heroine, is very much needed to Bollywood. She could get typecast with a traditional image after a while...

Richa Chadda
Poster girl of experimental cinema
One scene as Dolly in Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! was sufficient for Richa to reveal her talent. She has emerged as the new poster girl of art cinema, one who can pull off any experimental role.

Coming up: Mrigdeep Lamba's Fukrey, Navneet Behal's Tamanchey, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram Leela.

What works: Richa's realistic portrayal in Anurag Kashyap's Gangs Of Wasseypur series gave her the spotlight. She experiments with roles and does nor desist from mouthing cuss-word or going for steamy scenes if the script so demands.

What goes against: Bollywood's requirement of leading ladies largely comprises glamour and Richa needs to prove she can fit that bill, too. To prove her glamour quotient, she recently did a bikini shoot for a film magazine. But she seemed ill at ease in the photographs. She needs to push the envelope and show her acting prowess hasn't yet been fully tapped.

Jacqueline Fernandez Kicks In Bollywood!

The Sri Lankan beauty is revving up her Bollywood career…and how! First up, the sultry actress has bagged Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick opposite Salman Khan. The B-town beauty left behind Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra in the race for the role...

She came into B-town with roles and films that did not help her career – Aladin and Jaane Kahaan Se Aayi Hai come to mind. But now, after Housefull, Murder 2 and Race 2, Jacqueline Fernandez has impressed quite a few directors and post her break-up with director Sajid Khan, her Bollywood career has taken a complete ‘U’ turn…for good, wethinks. The leggy lass seems to be making all the right moves, professionally speaking. Besides Salman Khan in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick, Jackie will also be seen romancing Bollywood’s loverboy Ranbir Kapoor on the big screen very soon we hear, in Roy. With two big projects in her kitty, this is just the start of the gal’s journey to stardom in Bollywood.

Not long ago, Jackie’s career seemed to be going downhill fast thanks to overprotective then-beau Sajid Khan. She reportedly lost out on films like Krrish 3 and Jism 2 because of Sajid’s possessiveness and his rules about her clothes, her makeup, her roles and everything else. But now that Jackie is a free bird and taking control of her own work life, wethinks her stint in moviedom will be much more fruitful. With Sajid no longer in the picture, we are sure to see more of Jacqueline’s bold and beautiful avatar on the big screen, which will be a huge selling point with filmmakers and the audience. And as far as acting goes, she has proved her mettle in blockbuster films like Murder 2 and Housefull 2.

Looks like the race has just re-started for Jackie – and we won’t be surprised if she gives other Bollywood hotties a run for their money!
