Justin Bieber's 'Journals' Album Flops in Six Countries

His latest album peaked at number 46 before slipping to 94 on the UK album chart in Bieber's worst performance to date

ustin Bieber's new Journals album has flopped in multiple countries around the world. The singer's latest LP, which formed part of his #MusicMondays promotional campaign, has flopped in the UK and several other countries since it was released at the end of December.

The PR strategy for the release was an attempt to capitalise on the slower post-Christmas period, but Justin's new material failed to gain any traction and stalled outside of the top 40 in the UK. Journals peaked at number 46 and slipped to number 94 in its second week after dismal sales.

What's more, Justin's latest album has only entered the top 10 in two countries, Denmark and Norway, where it peaked at number two. It stalled at number 64 in Ireland, 174 in France, 35 in Australia, and 38 in Italy.

If that wasn't bad enough for the 'Heartbreaker' singer, The Hollywood Reporter reports that iTunes has refused to give sales figures to Nielsen SoundScan and Journals will not place on the Billboard Chart as a result.

Justin's latest documentary film also struggled to make an impact at the box office. Believe, which follows 2011 hit Never Say Never, has grossed less than $5 million since its oddly timed, post-Christmas release.
