In the September issue of ELLE UK magazine, Katy admits to contacting Kristen after reports claimed the pop star was dating Rob, according to the UK’s Daily Mail.
“I sent her a text message saying: ‘I know you’ve seen all this stuff but you know I would never disrespect you. I’m not that person,’” Katy says. “I’m just trying to be a friend to him but it is unfortunate that I do have a set of t*ts.’”
It seems like Katy was really trying to be there for Rob, while also doing right by her gal pal Kristen. What a good friend!

Reports at the time claimed heartbroken Kristen felt 'betrayed' over Katy's friendship with Robert, so the singer contacted the actress to reassure her their relationship was strictly platonic.
